Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include medication administration, IV infusion, and ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of medications. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Perform medication inventory management and ordering
- Assist in the compounding of sterile products, including IV admixtures
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of drug names to accurately label and package medications
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or acute care setting is highly preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration, including IV infusion techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology and drug names
- Knowledge of aseptic technique for sterile compounding
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
